It was cut in a classic swing shape with super strong padded shoulders and a loose fit below

There are a couple of tiny repairs and the original metal side zipper has been replaced with a modern plastic zipper as pictured

The functional waist pockets are trimmed with matching fabric at an offset angle to create contrast and stunning princess seaming at the back gives additional shape to the jacket

It was cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The notched lapel collar leads to a single row of three fabric covered buttons. Beautiful dart work emphasises the nipped waist and the unusual tulip pockets add a great design detail.
